David Pattison

Dr David Pattison, MBBS (Hons), MPH, FRACP, FAANMS is a Nuclear Medicine Physician and Endocrinologist employed at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in East Melbourne. He has a keen interest in both the imaging and management of endocrine malignancies. He is actively involved in the peptide receptor radionuclide therapy program at Peter Mac and has experience with numerous imaging tracers for neuroendocrine tumours including 18F-FDG, 68Ga-DOTA-octreotate and 123I-MIBG, and was recently involved with the clinical use of 68Ga-Exendin-4 for the first time in Australia.
His research interests lie at the intersection of endocrinology and nuclear medicine where he continues to build his profile as the lead author on several publications and has been invited to speak at regional / national meetings.
He graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2003 and underwent clinical training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Austin Health and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
