Diana Adams

Dr Diana Adams is a Senior Medical Oncologist treating breast and gynaecological and urological cancers with a special interest in the role of obesity and the metabolic syndrome in cancer. Dr Adams has worked with the University of Western Sydney Exercise Physiology group under Dr Bobby Cheema in a completed exercise intervention study for adjuvant breast cancer patients. She works closely with metabolic endocrinologists with patients with breast and ovarian cancer with raised BMI and central adiposity having referred over 80 patients to improve both their health and reduce possible risk of recurrence. Dr Adams is a member of the Executive Committee of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia and a working committee group member of the Australia New Zealand Gynaecology Oncology Group ( ANZGOG) endometrial subgroup.
