Associate Professor Boussioutas is a clinician researcher in the field of gastrointestinal oncology. He is a practising Gastroenterologist at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Western Health and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He is a tenured academic with the University of Melbourne as Associate Professor in Medicine. He is also Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Sydney. He is interested in translational of genomic research to the clinic and is also interested in screening and prevention of cancer. Dr Boussioutas heads the Gastrointestinal Risk Management service at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre through the Familial Cancer Clinic. He has published on screening and prevention of colorectal cancer.
