Miles Andrews

Dr Andrews leads the Cancer and Host Dynamics Group in the School of Translational Medicine, Monash University, and is a Consultant Medical Oncologist and Head of Immuno-oncology at Bayside Health – Alfred Care Group. He treats patients with cancers of the skin, lung, and head and neck, with an active clinical research program in cancer immunotherapy and immune-related toxicities. Dr Andrews’ laboratory research focuses on biomarkers of response and toxicity to cancer therapy, mechanisms of immune pathology, and the roles played by cancer extrinsic factors like sex, hormones and the microbiome, in shaping treatment outcomes.
