Dr Lisa Beatty is a Cancer Council SA Senior Research Fellow at Flinders University and a Clinical Psychologist in Medical Oncology at Flinders Medical Centre. She has over 14 years of research and clinical expertise in the field of psycho-oncology, and has attracted over $1.26M in competitive project grant funding, and 4.5 years of direct salary funding from the Cancer Council SA, for her fellowship on digital health in psycho-oncology. Lisa has published over 32 journal articles and has received 5 awards in recognition of her work, including a 2017 South Australian Young Tall Poppy Science Award. Key career achievements to date have included leading a large multi-centre NHMRC-funded grant, which demonstrated the benefits of her online intervention Finding My Way. This program is now a freely available online resource for the Australian cancer community, and is currently being adapted for use by researchers internationally.
